How does a person become a hero?
As Whatculture explains, whenever we hear the word „hero“ we automatically put the word „super“ in front of it and imagine the Avengers beating up some alien things coming out of the sky.
The truth is that unsung heroes are all around the world.
True heroes are people who live a life of kindness, people work every day and every shift while expecting no more reward than their well-earned paychecks and people who, despite all life’s challenges, manage to find the strength to be kind.
Because, doing good at personal level is the best possible step one can take in making this world a better place.
As one Qoura user said, when you think about real life superheroes, your thoughts should go to that one guy who holds the door open for you, to that one kind busdriver that let you on the bus even though you didnt have enough for a ticket, to that one friend who gave up their time to help you through some homework, to that one teacher who gave you a piece of encouragement and meant it…
If you want to became a hero, perhaps you should try saying “hello” to strangers and smile.
These acts of kindness are so easy, and they almost always make people smile.
These are the acts that slowly, almost invisibly, elevate overall level of kindness in the world thus making this world a better place to live.
If you wonder what do heroes look like, just look around you, real heroes don’t wear capes, they generally wear a smile on their face.
